Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform metallographic evaluation and documentation of special manufacturing processes, primarily heat treating and plasma spray coatings.
  • •Prepare samples, evaluate/disposition materials and processes, and maintain quality documentation and records per procedure.
  • •Interpret blueprints, specifications, procedures, and lab manuals to determine required testing and conformance to requirements.
  • •Investigate part and process problems, interact with Production Operations and other engineering disciplines, and support root cause and corrective actions.
