Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide on-site supervision of MWD, LWD, and directional drilling operations under general supervision.
  • •Oversee tool preparation, data acquisition, log generation, quality control, and service delivery to customers.
  • •Ensure BHAs are assembled according to plan, including correct make-up torque, proper doping, and handling procedures.
  • •Provide technical consultation using DD software, well path projections, well profile plots, survey calculations, and directional survey data aligned to client procedures.
  • •Interface with the Remote Drilling Coordinator (RDC) and/or Directional Driller (DD) to ensure BHA compatibility, verify operating parameters, maintain toolface control, and support documentation and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline.
  • •Complete basic M/LWD and DD training programs.
  • •At least one year of experience in LWD and DD operations, preferably including experience as a Field Service Specialist I (FSS I).
  • •Possess or be able to obtain all required onshore and offshore safety certifications.
