Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on economic matters, trends, and policy implications, including support for Dubai’s D33 agenda and international expansion.
  • •Conduct in-depth research on global and regional economic trends, trade flows, and sector developments; develop economic reports, briefs, and dashboards for executive decision-making.
  • •Support development of policy recommendations in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, engaging with government entities, international partners, and research institutions.
  • •Monitor key markets and provide insights on investment opportunities, trade corridors, emerging sectors, and support forecasting and scenario planning exercises.
  • •Prepare executive presentations, reports, and briefing notes, and build internal knowledge through thought leadership publications and reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred; PhD is a plus).
  • •12–15 years of progressive experience in economic advisory, research, or policy roles with exposure to senior/executive stakeholders.
  • •Experience within government entities, international organizations, consulting firms, or leading think tanks.
  • •Strong understanding of the UAE economic landscape, global macroeconomic trends, and international trade dynamics.
  • •Demonstrated ability to support strategic decision-making at executive or board level and produce high-impact economic reports and policy recommendations.
