Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate recycling, wastewater treatment, and ultra-pure water generation processes per the process plan.
  • •Collect and analyze process data/parameters during the shift and implement basic and advanced course corrections as needed.
  • •Respond to process control alarms by evaluating trends and troubleshoot day-to-day process and equipment problems.
  • •Perform maintenance and repairs including troubleshooting and replacement of pumps; escalate major repairs through proper coordination.
  • •Conduct standard tests and sample analysis, maintain accurate records, and follow hazardous waste, HAZMAT, and safety/5S procedures.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23.37 - 32.69 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year experience as a First Solar Wastewater & Recycling Technician I, or equivalent First Solar/industrial technical experience.
  • •Associates degree in a technical discipline with at least 1 year as First Solar Wastewater & Recycling Technician I (or other stated experience equivalents).
  • •Bachelors degree in a technical discipline with 0–2 years of industrial/commercial operations/technical experience.
  • •Demonstrated proficiency in wet chemical processes, chemical compatibilities, and responding to process control alarms.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot process control and electrical/electronic and mechanical systems, including operating computerized (PLC controlled) equipment.
