Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Chief Engineer in the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of onboard engineering machinery.
  • •Take engine-room watchkeeping responsibility and continuously monitor main engines, generators, and auxiliary systems.
  • •Operate and maintain main propulsion, auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors, boilers, and associated machinery.
  • •Monitor and maintain dredging-related equipment (e.g., dredge pumps, cutter drive, hydraulic systems, winches) and carry out planned maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
