Job Summary

Review and evaluate trust agreements and estate planning documents for legal accuracy, fiduciary responsibility, risk exposure, and tax-sensitive language. Partner with Baird advisors and PWM teams to answer client questions and provide thought leadership. Deliver presentations on estate, tax, and trust planning topics, support Trust Counsel with trust and estate matters, and contribute to trust company projects and new initiatives. Hybrid role based in Seattle.

Key Responsibilities

•Review trust agreements, amendments, restatements, wills, codicils, and other estate planning documents for legal accuracy and fiduciary responsibilities.
•Collaborate with Baird Financial Advisors, Market Directors, and PWM associates to answer questions and provide thought leadership.
•Create and deliver presentations on estate, tax, and trust planning topics for internal associates and continuing education seminars.
•Assist Trust Counsel and Baird Trust associates with trust and estate matters as needed.
•Participate in Trust Company projects and help introduce new initiatives, systems, products/services, and processes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 91,800 - 126,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Juris Doctorate (JD), CFP, or CTFA are a plus.
•Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
•5+ years of experience in the trust industry (preferred).
