Job Summary

Lead capture management for Shipboard Missiles within the Naval Power SSBU, overseeing the pursuit lifecycle for competitive and complex sole-source opportunities. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, develop win strategies and capture plans (including POA&M and win themes), and drive pursuit-to-startup execution within RTX lifecycle frameworks. Manage multi-disciplinary capture teams, conduct competitive intelligence and risk assessments, and support proposal development for critical new business wins.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a capture portfolio of Shipboard Missile programs across all phases of the pursuit lifecycle.
•Develop and execute capture plans, including customer mapping, engagement strategy, and POA&M with success metrics.
•Lead competitive and complex sole-source captures, including win strategies, teaming strategies, and PTW analysis.
•Build and lead high-performing, multi-disciplinary capture teams across Raytheon functions and external partners.
•Drive capture events and proposal excellence, supporting strategy workshops and contributing to proposal development, pricing, and risk/competitive intelligence.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 14 years Aerospace and Defense experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 12 years’ experience.
•4+ years of experience as a capture manager using Raytheon capture and proposal processes for U.S. customers (or equivalent).
•Experience as a key contributor (e.g., capture manager, volume lead, PM) on competitive and sole source captures over $500M.
•Intermediate Capture Management Certification (or equivalent).
•Experience with customer engagement, strategy development, resource planning, and DoD acquisition processes.
