Key Responsibilities

  • •Repair and maintain industrial production and processing machinery and equipment, including replacing broken or malfunctioning components and worn parts.
  • •Diagnose faults or malfunctions and determine required repairs using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices.
  • •Reassemble equipment after inspections, testing, or repairs; operate newly repaired equipment to verify adequacy of repairs.
  • •Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating equipment and vehicles, and record repairs and maintenance performed.
  • •Support Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and assist with yard needs and special projects as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •5 years of experience assisting skilled trades persons in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment.
  • •Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive an automobile.

  • •Ability to read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • •High school diploma or GED; an associate’s degree in Heavy Duty Truck or Heavy Equipment Repair may also be considered.
