Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical aspects of integrating Akamai security solutions (configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, and go-live).
  • •Analyze customer traffic and systems to customize security solutions for customer security issues.
  • •Manage and document technical issues, responses, and requests to keep information recorded and updated.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to scope work, set timelines, create technical solutions, and support implementation.
  • •Participate in ongoing training to up-skill and train others.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in security technologies, processes, and concepts, with formal education in computer science/engineering.
  • •Strong understanding of internet fundamentals including DNS and routing and communication protocols such as HTTP or TCP.
  • •Experience as an Application Security Engineer or Network Security Engineer.
  • •Ability to analyze customer traffic and systems and customize Akamai security solutions to address security issues.
  • •Knowledge of OWASP and network security products including network/application firewalls and server/client-side application architecture.
