Job Summary

Lead hardware design and development for a next-generation X-band radar program, guiding it from pre-contract internal development through Engineering Development Model build, integration, testing, and LRIP delivery. Serve as the primary technical point of contact across integrated product teams, partner with program and engineering leadership, and manage technical aspects of IRAD and Capital efforts to meet system-level requirements and deliver on critical naval schedules.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a cross-functional team across Engineering, Operations, Integrated Supply Chain, and Quality through production, issue resolution, and cost reduction initiatives.
•Guide technology roadmaps and business strategies while ensuring in-depth technical execution for phased array architectures and associated electronics modules.
•Manage engineering production support and balance performance with customers’ critical schedule requirements.
•Lead program status tracking with Engineering and Program leadership and partner with program manager, chief engineer, technical leads, operations, supply chain, and Quality.
•Lead design release into ongoing production and advise leadership on risk conditions and constraints while interfacing with internal and external customers.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.

•Experience in IRAD early development to transition to production.
