Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead legal entity financial control activities including accounting processes, month-end close, intercompany balance settlement, regulatory and management reporting, and variance analysis.
  • •Prepare US GAAP and local GAAP (IFRS) general ledger entries and support monthly US GAAP close and governance processes.
  • •Analyze and understand accounting/reporting/control impacts from corporate treasury, mortgage, and consumer vehicle lending (auto) products; review product lifecycle events and reconciliations.
  • •Manage FX process maps and hedging governance; support regulatory reporting data submissions for US GAAP consolidation and assist with external reports.
  • •Prepare monthly board packs, support forecasting, participate in process walkthroughs and audit liaison, and drive control and efficiency improvements plus ad hoc system/change projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualification.
  • •Minimum 4–8 years of post-qualification experience in controllership, finance/accounting, and regulatory reporting (preferably in banking).
  • •Legal entity and specialty product control/reporting experience in a financial services business (preferably banking).
  • •Strong understanding of corporate treasury and key banking products, including their accounting, financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and balance sheet impacts.
  • •Proficiency with Excel, Word, and MS Access, with strong written and verbal communication skills for global correspondence.
