Job Summary

Senior-level Test Equipment (Sort) Engineer leading wafer sort execution across OSATs for AMD’s next-generation processors. Owns sort hardware from development through bring-up, drives yield improvement, test readiness, and cross-functional issue resolution to meet quality and yield targets in a hybrid role based in Hsinchu, Taiwan.

Key Responsibilities

•Wafer Sort Execution: Lead day-to-day wafer sort execution across OSATs and ensure stable operations during NPI.
•Yield & Failure Ownership: Own WS yield excursions, test failures, and fallout, driving end-to-end technical debug.
•ATE & Test Readiness: Ensure tester and test program readiness to support WS execution and validate configurations prior to deployment.
•Sort Hardware Ownership: Own Sort Hardware readiness and design ownership for WS execution; manage probe card supplier delivery and risk.
•Issue Escalation & Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as technical escalation owner for WS issues and communicate root cause and recovery plans to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Electronics / Electrical engineering, or comparable discipline
•Strong background in Wafer sort and OSAT operations
•Background with ATE hardware development (Advantest 93K preferred)
•Results-driven with strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
•Excellent verbal and written communication for global teams
