Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure efficient delivery of engineering for FQM South American Projects, including study and detailed design phases.
  • •Provide ad hoc support during construction and commissioning phases.
  • •Bring operating and maintenance perspective into detail design development and apply learnings from recently completed projects.
  • •Liaise with project managers and project engineers to meet cost and time schedule needs and compare design quantities to budget.
  • •Coordinate engineering deliverables and timeliness into procurement, fabrication and construction; lead/participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Standard engineering management skills, with preference for experience in a similar role on similar-sized projects.
  • •Ability to work occasionally overseas for periods of time in South America.
  • •Some Spanish language skills and familiarity with South America.
  • •Bring a practical operating and maintenance perspective into detailed design development.
  • •Review existing operational and maintenance practices to apply learnings to South American projects.
