Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide hands-on technical leadership; actively participate in system design, architecture reviews, code reviews, and complex problem-solving.
  • •Lead the design and development of large-scale, distributed data-intensive systems with high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • •Drive data engineering best practices, including batch and streaming pipelines, data quality, governance, and observability.
  • •Mentor and develop engineers; support career growth, performance management, and recruitment to build diverse, high-performing teams.
  • •Partner with Product, Technical Program Managers, and Architects to plan roadmaps and ensure delivery through Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban).

Key Requirements

  • •Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams; foster ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • •Hands-on technical leader involved in system design, architecture reviews, code reviews, and complex problem-solving.
  • •Experience with large-scale, distributed, data-intensive systems with high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • •Guidance on Big Data platforms (Spark, Hadoop, Cloudera) and modern cloud-native data architectures; maintain engineering discipline (coding standards, testing, CI/CD, security).
  • •Experience developing applications with Java, Java EE/Spring, RESTful APIs, React.js, and databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL); microservices and cloud deployment experience preferred.
