Job Summary

Maintain the mission-critical SCADA and factory infrastructure powering connected manufacturing. You’ll own change management and sustainment across on-prem systems, including OT servers and Ignition gateways, historians, and MQTT brokers, as well as OT networking (MQTT, OPC UA, TCP/IP, industrial Ethernet, VLANs). Develop Ignition Perspective SCADA applications and troubleshoot PLC code on Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms to keep high-volume factory operations running reliably.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the process of change management across SCADA systems and push changes to the shop floor.
•Operate and maintain on-premise infrastructure and control systems that support factory operations.
•Operate and maintain OT server infrastructure including Ignition gateways, historians, and MQTT brokers with disciplined backup and change-control practices.
•Operate and maintain the OT networking stack for production and diagnose issues involving protocols, timing, and VLAN segmentation using packet-level analysis.
•Develop Ignition Perspective SCADA applications (views, tag architecture, alarm pipelines, historian configuration, gateway topology) and troubleshoot PLC code on Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens platforms. Act as the escalation point for complex outages and coordinate with development, security, and operations while documenting designs and procedures.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 126,000 - 167,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience in controls, automations, and IT/OT infrastructure engineering with strong on-premise focus across servers, storage, virtualization, and networking.
•Proficiency in Ignition SCADA development, including gateway modules such as Tag Historian, Alarm Notification, SQL Bridge, OPC UA, and MQTT Engine/Distributor/Transmission.
•Proficiency across the OT network stack (MQTT, OPC UA, TCP/IP, industrial Ethernet, VLANs, switching/routing) with experience in packet-level analysis.
•Working knowledge of OT cybersecurity, including air-gapped networks, network segmentation, server hardening, and secure remote access.
•Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
