Job Summary

Maintain and repair plant electrical equipment and systems under established policies and supervision. Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair electrical/electronic circuits, controls, and instrumentation, while performing preventive and routine maintenance. Install and modify plant electrical equipment, inspect motors and electrical systems, and install power/control wiring using conduit and cable tray. Interpret blueprints and electrical drawings, follow safety/lockout procedures, document work, and support training of electrical apprentices.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform repairs and routine/preventive maintenance on plant electrical equipment and systems.
•Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair electrical and electronic circuits, equipment, controls, and instrumentation.
•Install new electrical equipment, construct and install wiring, and modify existing equipment and systems.
•Inspect electrical systems and equipment for preventive maintenance, including electrical motors.
•Follow plant safety guidelines/lockout procedures, interpret work instructions/blueprints, and complete associated documentation.

Key Requirements

•High school graduation or equivalent is required.
•Minimum 3 years of electrician experience is required.
•Journeyman Electrician is preferred.
•Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and interconnection/conduit/cabinet drawings.
•Knowledge of plant safety and lockout procedures; ability to understand and follow safety instructions and warning labels.
