Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, monitor, and optimize inventory replenishment models and supply execution strategies to support manufacturing and minimize waste.
  • •Publish material forecasts, manage supplier commitments, and monitor forecast accuracy in collaboration with suppliers and business partners.
  • •Manage inventory scheduling and delivery, adjusting purchase orders and expediting delivery issues as needed to ensure supply continuity.
  • •Address inventory shortage issues by identifying and resolving root causes to prevent future shortages.
  • •Collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams to monitor KPIs, drive corrective actions, and support procurement process automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Proven analytical capabilities and strong problem-solving skills.
  • •Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English, with the ability to influence and advocate effectively.
  • •Professional procurement certificates (e.g., ISM, APICS) are an advantage.
  • •Working knowledge of procurement processes and systems (e.g., Ariba, SAP, source-to-pay processes) is preferred.
