Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the security engineering foundation across AI governance, application security, cloud infrastructure security, detection engineering, and identity/access.
  • •Set strategic direction and stay hands-on by reviewing PRs, writing detection rules, and filing hardening changes.
  • •Build AI-native security capabilities for detection triage, compliance automation, and threat-model assistance.
  • •Design and review cloud security controls across AWS accounts, including least-privilege access, JIT elevation, KMS boundaries, and Kubernetes pod security.
  • •Create detection and response operations, including SIEM/SOAR pipeline, correlation rules, on-call rotation, incident runbooks, and third-party security questionnaire responses.

  • •8+ years in security engineering, including building a security function from early stages.
  • •Build and ship security controls, not just identify issues; operate inside real audit environments (e.g., PCI DSS).
