Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with delivery of major development applications and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across project types.
  • •Support project management and implement quality and health and safety principles.
  • •Provide planning advice on planning consent requirements and permitted development rights.
  • •Carry out planning research and analysis to support feasibility reports and consent strategies.
  • •Write and lead planning statements and design & access statements, managing submissions and liaising with local planning authorities and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (desirable).
  • •Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or an equivalent professional body (desirable).
  • •Demonstrable and relevant experience working on planning applications.
  • •Sound knowledge of English planning policy and legislation.
  • •Strong writing skills and commercial awareness, with a client-focused, collaborative approach.
