Job Summary

Support major transportation, road, utilities, and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi by delivering geotechnical investigations, analysis, design recommendations, and technical reporting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop safe, practical, and cost-effective geotechnical solutions, including shallow/deep foundation and retaining structure analyses. Prepare geotechnical deliverables and calculations, review borehole and lab data, and provide construction-phase support when required.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform geotechnical investigations and assessments for roads, highways, transportation, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
•Interpret ground investigation data and develop geotechnical design recommendations.
•Carry out analyses for shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures, excavations, embankments, and slope stability.
•Prepare geotechnical design and factual reports, specifications, technical submissions, and calculations.
•Support planning/design coordination and provide construction-phase support and responses to geotechnical queries as required.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.
•5-10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
•Proven experience delivering transportation, roads, highways, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
•Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, gINT, WALLAP, or equivalent.
•Familiarity with Eurocodes, AASHTO, British Standards, and relevant UAE standards.
