Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strong leadership and day-to-day oversight for the Manila-based Financial Reporting team.
  • •Mentor, coach, and develop accountants while cultivating an inclusive, high-performing culture.
  • •Lead preparation of statutory financial statements for a portfolio of APAC Netflix entities in line with IFRS or local GAAP.
  • •Manage and coordinate external audits and local compliance obligations as the primary point of contact for auditors and regulators.
  • •Support period-end close and provide technical accounting guidance and research to resolve accounting or compliance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
  • •CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting qualification is required.
  • •10+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • •Strong expertise in IFRS and/or local GAAP, with APAC/EMEA/LATAM local GAAP experience a plus.
  • •Demonstrated experience preparing end-to-end statutory financial statements and managing external audits for international entities.
