Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide legal and regulatory guidance across corporate, healthcare regulatory, litigation, commercial, employment, product, and privacy matters.
  • •Monitor regulatory developments and translate their impact into actionable guidance for product, clinical, and operations teams.
  • •Draft, redline, and negotiate contracts with health plans, vendors, and partners, including BAAs, NDAs, and service agreements.
  • •Identify legal risks early and help design compliant solutions; develop legal processes and policies to support risk mitigation and compliance.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with clinical, operations, people, and leadership; support litigation and represent the company in partner and regulatory conversations.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of healthcare legal experience with direct exposure to Medicare and/or Medicaid programs and related regulatory frameworks (CMS, OIG, HIPAA, FWA).
  • •3+ years of legal experience at a digital health company, health plan, provider, or managed care organization operating in Medicaid and/or Medicare programs.
  • •Strong knowledge of the healthcare regulatory environment with practical application to technology products and digital health services.
  • •Ability to communicate complex requirements in plain language and provide crisp risk/benefit recommendations to business leaders.
  • •Experience building and implementing legal processes, workflows, and project/task management in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
