Job Summary

Lead and develop a credit risk operations team supporting workflows such as risk investigations, underwriting, triage, and merchant review. Oversee daily workload, queue management, service levels, and quality to ensure timely, accurate risk decisions. Review escalated cases and complex scenarios, coach team members, and analyze performance trends to identify root causes and implement improvements. Partner with credit risk, operations, sales, compliance, and product teams to resolve issues and strengthen risk management and policy adherence.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and develop an assigned credit risk operations team across risk investigations, underwriting, triage, and merchant review workflows.
•Oversee daily workload, queue management, service levels, quality standards, and business objectives to ensure timely and accurate risk decisions.
•Coach and mentor team members with performance feedback, decisioning guidance, and support for career growth.
•Review escalated cases and complex risk scenarios to help apply policies, procedures, and sound judgment.
•Analyze operational and risk performance trends, identify root causes, and implement solutions to improve quality, efficiency, and control effectiveness.

Key Requirements

•Must be highly organized and analytical, able to perform detailed credit and data analysis in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to explain/present analysis to senior management and external stakeholders.
•Strong financial analysis skills, with an emphasis on reading business financial statements.
•Strong business judgment with demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively.
•Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word; comfortable learning and aiding in developing new internal systems.
