Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, test, and support Java-based microservices and APIs for lending products and platforms.
  • •Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions in partnership with Product Owners, BAs, QA, SRE/Operations, and Risk/Compliance.
  • •Build cloud-ready, observable services with strong non-functional qualities (performance, scalability, resilience, security).
  • •Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines; maintain quality and improve release frequency.
  • •Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, drive fixes to completion, and contribute to on-call/incident rotations where applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong hands-on Java experience building enterprise-grade services (Java 11+; Java 17 preferred).
  • •Spring ecosystem experience (Spring Boot, Spring MVC/WebFlux, Spring Security) and REST API design (OpenAPI/Swagger).
  • •Microservices architecture experience, including resiliency patterns, idempotency, backward compatibility, and service decomposition.
  • •Database and messaging experience, including SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL plus Kafka and/or MQ concepts like ordering, retries, and delivery semantics.
  • •CI/CD and testing automation experience (JUnit 5, Mockito, WireMock/Testcontainers; Git; Maven/Gradle; Jenkins/GitLab; Docker) with security-by-design knowledge (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, secrets management, OWASP awareness).
