Job Summary

Oversee NDT Level III programs at an ATI facility, managing training, certification, and auditing for NDT personnel. Support day-to-day ultrasonic (UT) inspection operations, develop and approve NDT test methods, and ensure compliance with customer, industry, and government standards. Document NDT processes for continuous improvement, maintain and support calibration of NDT instrumentation, and administer technical certification and exam activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide oversight of NDT programs by managing training, certification, and auditing.
•Support daily NDT operations for personnel inspecting mill shapes and final components.
•Develop, qualify, and approve NDT test method procedures and techniques.
•Ensure testing activities comply with customer, industry, and government specifications and standards.
•Document NDT processes and perform continuous improvement, including internal and external auditing and support for calibration and maintenance of NDT instrumentation.

Key Requirements

•Associate’s degree required.
•Minimum of four years’ experience in a manufacturing environment as a UT Level II (and/or meeting ASNT minimum requirements for Level III test qualification).
•Proven ability to pass MIL-STD-2132 UT Examiner and ASNT UT Level III tests.
•Successful certification as an NDT Level III.
•Ability to administer training, examinations, and certification programs for NDT Level I and Level II inspectors and Level III at facilities in Oregon and Alabama.
