Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide oversight of NDT programs by managing training, certification, and auditing.
  • •Support daily NDT operations for personnel inspecting mill shapes and final components.
  • •Develop, qualify, and approve NDT test method procedures and techniques.
  • •Ensure testing activities comply with customer, industry, and government specifications and standards.
  • •Document NDT processes and perform continuous improvement, including internal and external auditing and support for calibration and maintenance of NDT instrumentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree required.
  • •Minimum of four years’ experience in a manufacturing environment as a UT Level II (and/or meeting ASNT minimum requirements for Level III test qualification).
  • •Proven ability to pass MIL-STD-2132 UT Examiner and ASNT UT Level III tests.
  • •Successful certification as an NDT Level III.
  • •Ability to administer training, examinations, and certification programs for NDT Level I and Level II inspectors and Level III at facilities in Oregon and Alabama.
