Key Responsibilities

  • •Gain general agronomy knowledge across scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, and application/mixing procedures.
  • •Perform agronomy/seed operations and monitor and maintain quality of inventory.
  • •Complete periodic housekeeping, record keeping, and other required operational processes.
  • •Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for agronomy equipment, including legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, and trucks.
  • •Provide customer service as needed and maintain compliance with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other agriculture-related degree program.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • •Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile.
  • •Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands.
  • •CDL license and forklift certification are preferred.
