•Act as a subject matter expert for Datadog’s advocacy and engineering teams.
•Drive regional first-party technical event content programs (e.g., Summits and engineering meetups).
•Define and execute regional advocacy programs for technical audiences to keep Datadog relevant.
•Represent Datadog’s point-of-view at events and conferences and partner with event organizers to ensure success.
•Manage, mentor, and grow a team of regional Developer Advocates and coach internal teams on public communication.

Key Requirements

•Approximately 5+ years of experience as a software developer, SRE, or other practitioner.
•Approximately 5+ years of experience in senior technical developer relations, influencing product outcomes through peer collaboration.
•Approximately 3+ years of experience in storytelling and creating technical content (e.g., talks, workshops, videos, open source, community events).
•Publicly available technical writing samples, demos, or recordings of presentations.
•Experience coaching others to speak publicly and deliver compelling technical talks that resonate with audiences.
