Key Responsibilities

•Set and evolve engineering standards across the Issuer Solutions portfolio, including code quality, architecture patterns, CI/CD, and security posture.
•Perform solution architecture reviews, code reviews, and design consultations to raise the quality bar for teams using Java/Spring, .NET, Angular, Python, and related technologies.
•Define reusable patterns, reference implementations, and decision frameworks teams can adopt independently.
•Bridge AI CoE, cloud engineering, and security mandates into actionable delivery for software development and mainframe teams, translating enterprise requirements.
•Evaluate, pilot, and operationalize AI developer tools, champion AI-assisted workflows, and deliver technical training and enablement while mentoring engineers.

Salary: USD 186,000 - 285,600 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 5 years at a staff, principal, or architect level of influence across multiple teams.
•8+ years hands-on experience across mainframe and distributed technologies, including Assembler, COBOL, and Java-based enterprise applications, bridging legacy and modern architectures.
•8+ years experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and AppOps practices, including production support, monitoring, incident management, and operational excellence.
•8+ years experience with cloud-native and containerized environments (OpenShift, AWS/Azure/GCP) with exposure to hybrid mainframe-cloud ecosystems.
•3+ years experience adopting and championing AI-assisted development tools at scale, plus a bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field (or equivalent experience).
