Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver inspiring homeroom lessons that help students succeed and achieve best-possible outcomes.
  • •Organize classroom provision and learning resources, create engaging displays, and plan sessions for the full ability range.
  • •Assess and record student development in line with school assessments, using Target Tracker to guide planning and intervention.
  • •Manage classroom behaviour according to school policy and maintain positive relationships with pupils.
  • •Collaborate with colleagues and curriculum support staff, communicate with parents/carers on progress and well-being, and support school events and weekly ECA each term.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
  • •Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience.
  • •Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • •Strong commitment to teaching and educating the whole child, with professionalism and attention to children’s well-being.
  • •A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check, and the ability to reside in the same Emirate as the school assigned.
