Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end technical solutioning for applications and infrastructure pursuits from qualification through proposal and contracting.
  • •Lead client discovery workshops to understand business drivers, pain points, and future-state ambitions.
  • •Design end-to-end solution architectures for application modernization, microservices, integration, DevSecOps, and Azure infrastructure, producing solution artifacts and estimate models.
  • •Define and communicate modernization roadmaps using the 6Rs and Azure migration patterns, including cloud-native architecture patterns.
  • •Shape GenAI-infused engagements across the software delivery lifecycle, including AI agents/coproots and adoption frameworks, and represent Avanade in stakeholder and partner settings.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years in application architecture, software engineering, or technology consulting, with at least 4 years in a pre-sales or solution architect role.
  • •Proven track record shaping and winning mid-to-large application modernization and cloud transformation deals.
  • •Hands-on expertise in microservices/distributed systems, containerization and orchestration, and API design/integration patterns.
  • •Experience with DevSecOps and platform engineering, including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and infrastructure-as-code with Bicep/Terraform.
  • •Practical experience embedding GenAI tooling into the SDLC (e.g., GitHub Copilot and AI agents) and strong grounding in Azure infrastructure and governance.
