Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the controls design development team and own template designs, SOOs, points lists, BOMs, and Division 25 specifications.
  • •Set the technical direction for controls design, defining standards, platforms, and reference architectures for the fleet.
  • •Drive controls design decisions to resolution across mechanical, electrical, commissioning, and construction to avoid schedule delays.
  • •Grow the team by hiring controls engineers and raising the bar on design work.
  • •Own the quality and repeatability of every design package so future sites are faster and cleaner.

Key Requirements

  • •Have led a controls or design engineering team, owning technical output and the people producing it.
  • •Set controls design standards, reference architectures, or specifications used across multiple projects.
  • •Authored or owned Division 25 integrated automation specifications and can differentiate field-holding specs from those that create change orders.
  • •Write sequences of operations and take them through to working code.
  • •Make and defend fast design decisions across mechanical, electrical, and construction stakeholders.
