Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a team of 4–8 researchers: set priorities, review work, and support career growth.
  • •Balance hands-on research with leadership (aiming for a 50/50 split).
  • •Identify, define, and drive research projects with company-wide scope and direct impact on core metrics.
  • •Design, implement, and deploy models (often deep neural networks) to predict user behavior and preferences.
  • •Conduct and analyze A/B tests, translate ML research into practical improvements, and mentor researchers to shape research practices across teams.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience as a researcher or engineer.
  • •2+ years of hands-on experience with Machine Learning / Data Science.
  • •Proven leadership experience, including at least 2 years managing and mentoring an engineering or research team.
  • •Proficiency in programming and strong mathematical knowledge and intuition.
  • •Applied research experience in a production environment (leadership and mentoring are emphasized).
