Job Summary

Perform a variety of duties on construction and paving projects in a utility capacity, moving between tasks as jobsite demands change. Assist the construction/paving crew with manual work (shoveling, raking, running wheelbarrows), safely backing/dumping trucks into the paver, and preparing materials by digging, spreading, and leveling. Follow OSHA/MSHA safety procedures, take direction from the foreman, support equipment signal guidance, and assist with traffic control setup and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment; report issues to supervisors, safety, or HR.
•Assist the construction/paving crew with duties such as shoveling and raking, running wheelbarrows, and safely backing/dumping trucks into the paver.
•Signal operators of construction equipment to support alignment, movement, and material handling.
•Follow the foreman’s direction for daily tasks and expectations on each project/jobsite.
•Assist with placement, moving, and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic control devices.

Key Requirements
