Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform training feasibility analysis and provide specialist instructional design advice for program requirements.
  • •Develop technical training curriculum, technology-based training solutions, and training documentation aligned to applicable safety and regulatory standards.
  • •Conduct user testing, validate training designs and resources, and review training products for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
  • •Prepare training products for delivery according to the approved schedule and ensure supporting data is available to meet contractual requirements.
  • •Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, participate in customer forums, and report work package progress while supporting continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations and ability to obtain and maintain required defence security clearance.
  • •Defence (Royal Australian Navy) maritime technical trade or production experience, with marine technician operation and maintenance and/or Marine Systems Controller experience (highly desirable).
  • •Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • •Practical experience using the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) or the ADDIE model.
  • •Experience with Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO) under the VET Quality Framework, and using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS).
