Key Responsibilities

  • •Work within the water team on process engineering for water and wastewater projects
  • •Create process flow diagrams, mass balance calculations, and process engineering calculations (e.g., unit operation sizing and constraints)
  • •Support assessments and studies, including feasibility/optioneering and asset/survey activities and site visits when required
  • •Assist with HAZOP meeting documentation (technical secretary/scribe) and develop interest in functional safety studies
  • •Prepare structured technical documents/drawing deliverables per design standards and AECOM QA standards, and support checking other junior staff’s work

Key Requirements

  • •Working towards Chartered Engineer status with IChemE or CIWEM
  • •Degree educated (MEng or MSc) or equivalent in Chemical Engineering (or similar)
  • •Strong report writing, communication, and teamwork skills
  • •Analytical/problem-solving ability with attention to detail and creative thinking
  • •Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams; AutoCad and Revit are advantageous
