Key Responsibilities

•Own and maintain actuarial/finance requirements for IFRS 17 financials and capital/solvency forecasting models; translate requirements into specifications for build and change delivery.
•Provide SME ownership of IFRS 17 reporting tools, especially the Planning and Forecasting model, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
•Horizon scan for balance sheet risks; design and validate scenarios reflecting macroeconomic, geopolitical and insurance drivers.
•Contribute to end-to-end stress testing design, governance and reporting; document assumptions and limitations for oversight.
•Develop, document and maintain modelling methodologies, assumptions and expert judgments; ensure alignment with internal standards across Finance, Risk and Actuarial.

Key Requirements

•IFRS 17 knowledge and capital forecasting experience; translate requirements into clear specifications for build/delivery
•Ownership of IFRS 17 reporting tools, especially planning and forecasting models, with focus on accuracy and timeliness
•Experience in vulnerability analysis and scenario design for balance sheet risks; ability to design and validate macro-driven scenarios
•Hands-on or oversight of stress testing end-to-end, including governance, documentation, and end-user reporting
•Ability to develop and maintain modelling methodologies, assumptions, and controls; coordinate with Finance/Risk/Actuarial for consistency
