Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement governance, risk, and compliance deliverables for a portfolio of clients.
  • •Support clients in understanding and implementing Bermuda governance, risk, and compliance regulatory requirements (including frameworks and assurance activities).
  • •Review and advise start-up clients on governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, policies, and business plan inputs.
  • •Manage client communications and engagement with the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) on governance, risk, and compliance matters, including annual filings.
  • •Lead business development and thought leadership by contributing to proposals/pitches, presenting advisory expertise, and coaching colleagues.

Key Requirements

  • •An internationally recognized relevant qualification in accounting, insurance, ERM, compliance, or actuarial.
  • •Deep understanding of the Bermuda (or similar) regulatory environment with at least 5 years’ experience.
  • •Experience designing, implementing, and monitoring governance, risk & compliance frameworks for re/insurance companies.
  • •Strong stakeholder management and confidence to interact with C-suite executives, board members, and regulators.
  • •Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a consulting/advisory track record preferred (e.g., professional services or Big 4).
