Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, maintain, and improve the company’s QHSE Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISM Code; ensure documentation is current and effectively implemented across fleet and office.
  • •Ensure vessels comply with maritime laws, international conventions, and flag state requirements; communicate updates to stakeholders and liaise with external regulatory bodies; prepare for external audits.
  • •Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventive actions; monitor incidents, near-misses, and KPIs to identify trends and improvements.
  • •Coordinate QHSE-related training for sea and shore personnel; promote safety awareness through drills, campaigns, and toolbox talks.
  • •Provide regular management reports on QHSE performance, and support vetting and TMSA compliance for tanker operations; manage vetting inspections and audits.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or related field; Master’s Certificate (Deck or Engine) or equivalent technical/maritime qualification preferred.
