Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for customers in a defined market, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up commercial HVAC systems. Use HVAC theory, pipe fitting knowledge, and mechanical layouts to diagnose and repair equipment on-site. Coordinate with team leaders and customers on installation and repair needs, maintain safety and accountability of company assets, and work flexible schedules including occasional overtime, weekends, and overnight stays.

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand requirements for on-site installations and repairs, including forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Serve as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Diagnose and repair HVAC units using hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications, along with software and technology.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company and customer assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent and typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; technical school/formal training is preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and working proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
•EPA Certification.
•Ability to use blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
