Job Summary

Lead a system administration organization within RTX Digital Technology for the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit. You’ll manage a team of up to sixteen technical professionals across classified and unclassified environments, ensuring 24x7 operational readiness. Drive IT project and infrastructure execution, oversee hardware/software refresh plans, coordinate stakeholders across Digital, Engineering, and Cybersecurity, and use tools like JIRA to monitor delivery and performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and lead a high-performing team, including performance management, training, onboarding, and people development.
•Manage implementation of IT projects and system administration functions across engineering labs, testing ranges, and factories.
•Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enable Digital Technology service delivery and technology evolution.
•Assess program requirements against existing infrastructure and define when new or modified infrastructure is needed, considering cost impacts.
•Maintain operational readiness (24x7), manage hardware/software refresh plans, and assign/monitor work using JIRA and JIRA Service Management.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 7 years of relevant experience.

•Experience with IT system administration duties.
•Experience managing, supervising, or leading a team in technological environments.
