Key Responsibilities

  • •Own fielded system health and uptime by triaging, diagnosing, and driving resolution for issues across the full stack.
  • •Develop and extend modular production services for edge-compute devices in austere environments with reliability and observability.
  • •Support field operations by working with field operators and non-technical users to diagnose and resolve deployed hardware issues.
  • •Represent the team externally as a subject matter expert for integrations, communicating credibly across the full system stack.
  • •Maintain end-to-end understanding of hardware/firmware/networking/software interactions and collaborate to build and test complex functionality with other engineering teams.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in software development with meaningful production responsibility, owning systems after they ship.
  • •Strong Python and C++ skills, with effective work in at least one of the two.
  • •3+ years working in Linux-based environments, including bare-metal hardware.
  • •Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across system boundaries (networking, services, hardware interaction) without full visibility into every component.
  • •Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance; travel ~15% for field testing and customer integrations.
