Job Summary

Support a Waitrose supermarket by keeping shelves stocked, products in the right place, and shop areas safe and tidy. Prepare and fulfill online customer orders for delivery, help manage Click & Collect, and assist with checkout when needed. Help reduce waste by following due diligence and markdowns as products near sell-by dates. Work part-time evenings across Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, with night premium for shifts between 22:00 and 06:00.

Key Responsibilities

•Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and products in the right place at the right time.
•Fulfill online customer orders for drivers to deliver to customers.
•Reduce wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns near sell-by dates.
•Support the wider shop team when needed, including checkout support and Click & Collect.
•Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 13 - 13.25 hourly

Key Requirements

•Be 18 years or over due to working time regulations.
•Communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.
•Flexible approach to support the whole branch.
•Up-to-date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
•Experience of working in a customer-facing role (welcomed).
