Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical inputs to land use planning projects within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • •Support the preparation and coordination of planning applications, including writing planning statements or policy appraisals and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
  • •Carry out planning research and due diligence to identify planning risks and opportunities.
  • •Represent the organization professionally by building relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, including attending conferences and events.
  • •Support stakeholder engagement and consultation activities by preparing materials, assisting with stakeholder mapping, and coordinating engagement events.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or post-graduate level qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline.
  • •Strong interest in all aspects of planning and a hard-working, highly motivated approach.
  • •Understanding of Irish, Northern Irish and wider UK planning policy and legislative frameworks.
  • •Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ability to meet project deadlines under pressure.
