Job Summary

Senior Principal Systems Engineer to support Digital Radar test activities, radar performance analysis, and flight-test readiness. Lead and execute test planning, data analyses, and verification strategies across HWIL/SIL/field environments; collaborate with systems, software, and algorithm engineers and interact with government stakeholders to ensure rigor and mission success.

Key Responsibilities

•Generate, run, and interpret modeling and simulation scenarios to predict radar performance, validate algorithm updates, and compare modeled results to Flight Test truth data and measured radar outputs.
•Support real-time and near-real-time field analysis during test events by providing reach-back to development teams, interpreting data products onsite, validating sensor behavior, and advising mission leadership on radar system status and performance.
•Collaborate with group leads, cross-discipline engineers, program leadership, and government stakeholders to define analysis objectives, prioritize data sets, and communicate findings.
•Produce technically rigorous analysis reports, performance assessments, test-event summaries, and presentation materials suitable for internal reviews as well as external customer briefings.
•Contribute to technical reviews such as peer reviews, gate reviews, verification events, and test readiness reviews, ensuring analytical rigor and alignment with program objectives.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
•Experience with radar waveforms, beamforming, and/or signal processing.
•Experience with MATLAB, Python, and/or other programming languages.

•Experience with technical and/or functional leadership.
