Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and grow teams of data scientists and AI practitioners to deliver enterprise AI initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • •Develop and execute technical strategy for AI/ML architecture, platform strategy, and governance for responsible enterprise-scale deployments.
  • •Design and scale ontology-driven enterprise intelligence solutions, including knowledge graphs, semantic layers, and business knowledge models.
  • •Integrate knowledge graphs and ontology layers with ML and generative/agentic AI (including RAG architectures) to improve reasoning, explainability, and grounding.
  • •Evaluate and implement modern retrieval and orchestration approaches, including semantic retrieval pipelines and multi-agent workflows, for production impact.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years leading and mentoring data science/AI teams, driving complex AI initiatives from concept to production across multiple teams.
  • •Define technical strategy, establish team priorities, and align AI investments with business objectives, product roadmaps, and customer outcomes.
  • •Experience with people management (5+ years), including hiring, coaching, and retaining top AI talent.
  • •Deliver large-scale AI programs across multiple teams and business units while partnering with senior executives on AI strategy and investment priorities.
  • •Knowledge of SAP domains/data models and experience with ontology engineering, semantic technologies, metadata management, and knowledge graph–based enterprise intelligence.
