Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as Engineer of Record (EoR) for electric substation projects, producing detailed designs, material lists, and IFC packages.
  • •Act as the client’s Owner’s Engineer, ensuring external consultants meet scope, standards, and project timelines.
  • •Perform advanced engineering calculations and technical analysis to support high-impact design decisions.
  • •Manage a portfolio of station projects, including schedule, risk awareness, project controls, and real-time construction support troubleshooting.
  • •Mentor junior engineers, oversee engineering closeout, and contribute to continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and process refinement.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •Professional Engineering designation (EGBC).
  • •8+ years of experience in electric substation design, power utility engineering, or industrial electrical infrastructure.
  • •Deep understanding of transmission, distribution, and station equipment, design standards, and utility practices.
  • •Proficiency with design and analysis tools such as AutoCAD, MS Office, Primavera, SharePoint, and engineering software including CDGES, CymeTCC, ETAP, or Polywater.
