Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver reliable first-party data collection at scale by working across the JS tag, Cloudflare Workers, and Java backend ingestion services.
  • •Expand tag/edge capabilities in Cloudflare Workers, including tag serving, A/B configuration, and compute for agentic systems and data analysis.
  • •Build agentic AI systems that identify poor data collection quality and automate diagnosis and fixes for customer data gaps.
  • •Strengthen the event ingestion pipeline to receive, validate, and route events, improving reliability and observability for traceable debugging.
  • •Help lead technical direction on a small autonomous team by writing proposals, running design reviews, and mentoring teammates.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 170,000 - 205,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of professional software engineering experience across multiple layers of a system, not just frontend or backend.
  • •Backend experience building and operating services in Java, Kotlin, or similar typed languages, including API design, data modeling, and testing.
  • •Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, able to reason about browser runtime behavior, async patterns, and production performance.
  • •Experience with edge compute or serverless runtimes (e.g., Cloudflare Workers); ability to ramp quickly.
  • •Comfort leading projects end-to-end and debugging across service boundaries, with active use of AI-assisted development tools.
