Key Responsibilities

  • •Own infrastructure reliability, performance, and efficiency end-to-end, including SLOs, error budgets, and on-call ownership.
  • •Design and operate scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure across AWS (preferred), GCP, and Azure using Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
  • •Automate operational tasks and reduce toil using Python or Go, treating manual on-call work as a defect to be designed out.
  • •Lead incident response, post-mortems, and root-cause analyses, feeding learnings back into architecture to prevent repeat incidents.
  • •Collaborate with product, security, and engineering peers to guide system design for reliability, performance, and scalability.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or a similar role operating large-scale, high-availability production systems at a high-growth product company.
  • •Production containerization experience with Helm and Terraform or Pulumi on at least one major cloud (AWS preferred).
  • •Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and infrastructure tooling.
  • •Daily hands-on experience using agentic AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Droid, Codex) to ship and debug workflows.
  • •Ability to reason from constraints and failure modes, challenge the status quo, and make reversible decisions with clear tradeoffs.
