Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain an accurate inventory and CMDB record in ServiceNow of COTS software assets and entitlements, reconciled against SnowLM and Intune data.
  • •Process COTS software requests through the SAM lifecycle in ServiceNow to support onboarding and business productivity.
  • •Coordinate deployment, reassignment, and removal using Microsoft Intune/SCCM and On-Site Support teams, and manage lifecycle from request to retirement.
  • •Collaborate with Vendor Management and Procurement on contracts, renewals, volume discounts, and a COTS renewals calendar; support license reviews and vendor audits.
  • •Identify cost-optimisation opportunities and provide reporting, metrics, and dashboards on software usage, compliance status, and vendor performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • •5+ years in an ITIL-aligned operational role in Software Asset Management (or similar), ideally with a COTS/desktop software focus.
  • •Hands-on experience with software discovery, metering, and reconciling deployments against entitlements using tools such as Snow License Manager.
  • •Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and SCCM/Configuration Manager for application deployment and inventory.
  • •Solid knowledge of ServiceNow and experience working to exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
