Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building and operating production backend systems using Typescript, Deno, Node.js, or Bun (scope may flex from Senior to Staff).
  • •Experience designing and shipping API-driven platform services and distributed systems (microservices, event-driven patterns, secure service-to-service communication).
  • •Hands-on experience building AI integration layers (e.g., MCP clients/servers, tool orchestration, external API connectors, auth mediation).
  • •Expertise in authentication and security patterns for third-party integrations (OAuth2/OIDC, API keys, token lifecycle, secret management, least-privilege).
  • •Cloud-native production experience on AWS, GCP, or Azure, including Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability/reliability practices (SLOs/SLAs, alerting, incident response).
